Who is Pontus?
Games have always been a part of my life, from playing competitive multiplayers to singleplayer adventures. I've always had a curiosity about how games work and are structured. Growing up I used to spend a lot of time creating fictional cities on paper or in map editors for games like Far Cry and Halo.

Currently I'm a level designer at The Game Assembly living in Malmö, Sweden. Before I started my education in level design I collected a B.Sc in Media Technology; focused on game design at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Through both educations I got to work in teams and collaborate on many different projects.

I’m a level designer that values communication and teamwork. As a level designer I like being part of tackling challenges and thinking outside the box. I have a big interest in understanding and working with technical solutions and designs but also creating fun and memorable levels.
Advocating for accessibility
Accessibility is a big part of my life, since I was born with a physical disability called AMC. Because of that I also got an interest in working with accessibility design for both digital and physical spaces, trying to bring an unique perspective on things.

I've been working with accessibility at events and exhibitions but also been a speaker at some of them. Here are some of my highlights.
-
Guest speaker on topic accessibility and esports at BirdieLAN 2019 and Vetenskapsfestivalen 2022.
-
Guest lecturer at Skurup Fridhems Folkhögskola about accessibility design.
-
Accessibility designer at Kreativum Science Center exhibition that opened 2022.
